Week of March 12, 2006 - UP COME THE FLOORS, DOWN COME THE WALLS

Gary has begun to pull up the wood floors. We hope to salvage them and reuse them later. We discovered the "shadows" of where old walls once were on the planking underneath the wood floors. We also found a chimney hold in the upstairs bedroom that goes down into the center of the living room. Now we know why the heating bill was so much this winter, it was discovered that there is no trace of insulation in any of the walls.
